UV-activated golf balls that glow in low light, praised for feeling like real golf balls unlike hard LED alternatives. Customers said they "play like a normal golf ball" with soft feel and good distance. Glow brightness varies—some found it sufficient for twilight rounds, others wished it lasted longer. Requires frequent UV recharging between shots.

The Volvik Vivid Twilight golf balls are easily some of the coolest-looking balls I’ve played. The matte finish really stands out on the course and makes them super easy to track in the air and find in the rough. They feel soft off the club face, especially around the greens, while still giving solid distance off the tee.

I was impressed with how consistent they performed throughout the round, and the Twilight colorway looks amazing in the sunlight. If you want a golf ball that performs well and brings a unique style to your game, the Volvik Vivid Twilight is definitely worth trying.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These Volvox Twilight UV glow golf balls are so fun for night golf. They light up super bright under UV light and make it way easier to keep track of your shots in the dark. I’ve tried other glow balls before, but these actually feel good to hit and don’t feel cheap.

Played a full night round with friends and barely lost any balls because they were so easy to spot. Definitely a must-have if you play glow golf or late night rounds.

these balls have a vivid appearance when charged, and feel ultra soft off the putter face. they stay bright long enough to find your ball after a tee shot, and the distance is excellent.

For evening range sessions or casual twilight rounds, having a ball you can actually see makes a big difference. These glow-in-the-dark golf balls solve that problem, and the set includes a small UV flashlight that quickly recharges the glow, making it easy to refresh the brightness between shots. The instructions suggest about five minutes of charging, though even a quick pass with the light brings the glow back noticeably.

The balls have a bright yellow finish that remains visible during the day and becomes easy to track once the glow is activated at night. They behave like a standard golf ball rather than the hard-plastic style often used for night golf. The compression feels relatively soft off the clubface, and the contact sounds normal rather than the harsh click some glow balls produce.

Performance-wise, it goes the distance, has a reasonably high launch, and straight ball flight, so it does not feel like you are sacrificing playability and quality just to get the glow feature. Price-wise, this six-pack feels reasonable and durable, especially compared with traditional light-up balls that can feel hard and unpredictable off the driver.

Tried the Volvik Vivid Twilight Starter Pack recently and I’m honestly impressed. First impressions right out of the box were great. The packaging is clean, the orange golf balls were bright and have a soft feel, and the UV flashlight that comes with it is a great addition and makes charging the glow really simple. The packaging recommends about a 5-minute charge for the best glow, but I noticed even about 10 seconds with the flashlight will get the ball glowing enough to play. It probably won’t last quite as long with the shorter charge, but it’s super convenient if you just want a quick recharge before hitting.

Performance-wise, it plays like a normal golf ball. I was getting good distance, a nice high launch, and pretty straight ball flight, so it doesn’t feel like you’re sacrificing performance just to get the glow feature.

Overall, this starter pack is a really fun and practical option. Easy to see, soft feel, and solid performance in one ball. Definitely keeping these in my bag for regular rounds and late afternoon tee times!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I picked up the Vivid Twilight balls mainly for evening practice sessions and they’ve been awesome. The visibility is excellent as the light fades, and the feel is still really solid off the face. I’ve been using them during late sessions at the range and on my backyard putting green and they’re surprisingly easy to track. Definitely a fun option for twilight rounds or night practice.

What a great idea! Balls charge up fast with the provided UV light and are very bright and visible. Same awesome performance expected from Volvik.

If you’ve ever played a night tournament or a "glow ball" event, you know the struggle: most glow balls feel like hitting a rock, sound terrible, and can actually be a bit scary for your expensive driver. This Volvik Vivid Twilight is a total game-changer for after-hours golf.

Feel & Performance (The Big Difference):
The most important thing to know is that this has a much better feel and performance than standard glow balls. Because it’s a true 3-piece construction with proper compression, it actually compresses off the clubface. You get a soft, responsive feel and a solid "thud" rather than the harsh, jarring impact of those cheap, unregulated glow balls. It performs remarkably close to a premium daytime ball, with a stable flight and a reliable launch that doesn't sacrifice distance.

Visibility & Glow:
The UV-reactive pigments are impressive. While typical glow sticks or LED balls can be lopsided and off-balance, these maintain a perfect 322-dimple aerodynamic pattern. A quick blast with the UV flashlight (included in the starter pack) gives you a bright, high-contrast glow that lasts about 15 minutes—plenty of time to find your shot. Even in the daytime, the patented matte finish in orange and yellow is incredibly easy to track and reduces glare significantly.

Key Highlights:
• Equipment Safe: I felt completely comfortable using my regular woods and irons with these. They are engineered for clubface safety, unlike the rock-hard alternatives.
• USGA Conforming: It’s a "real" golf ball, meaning your shots actually react the way they should from tee to green.
• Matte Finish: The SF matte coating looks premium and makes the ball pop against the grass even before the sun goes down.
• Convenient Charging: The UV-activated tech is much better than the "hit to activate" style balls that sometimes fail mid-flight.

The Verdict:
If you want to keep playing through dusk or participate in a night scramble without ruining your swing or your clubs, this is the ball to get. It bridges the gap between a novelty "party" ball and a high-performance tour ball. It’s fun for the kids to track and professional enough for serious golfers to use for late-night practice.

I picked up the Volvik Vivid Twilight Glow in The Dark Golf Balls just for fun evening rounds, and they’re actually awesome. The glow is surprisingly bright and makes it easy to track the ball even after sunset. I also like the matte finish, it feels great off the club and is easy to spot during the day too. They’ve held up well after several rounds, and honestly they just make night golf a lot more fun. Definitely glad I tried them!

I ordered these ‘Volvik Vivid Twilight Glow in The Dark Golf Balls” simply because I needed a few balls to take on our upcoming trip to Florida. I’m not a golf pro by any means, but these golf balls seemed like a good option….and I really liked that they supposedly glowed in the dark.

These ‘Volvik Vivid Twilight Glow in The Dark Golf Balls’ seem every bit as good as the name brand balks I have in my bag. They’re about the same weight and seem to hit just as well. I tried driving one at the open field behind the house. The range was quite good.

The construction of these ‘Volvik Vivid Twilight Glow in The Dark Golf Balls’ seems decent as well. It held up well to my drive and survived the 200ft flight after I hit it with only a couple of minor scratches.

Now, as far as the ‘glow in the dark’ feature goes…that terminology is very misleading. These gold balls DO NOT glow in the dark….you can FIND them in the dark using an ultraviolet light like the one included in my package. That description is very misleading.

In summary, these ‘Volvik Vivid Twilight Glow in The Dark Golf Balls’ are generally very nice golf balls. They’re well made, and they are nice to hit. But they don’t glow in the dark….at least in my opinion.

The Volvik Vivid Twilight Glow-in-the-Dark Golf Ball kit includes six golf balls (two 3-packs) and a small, very basic UV flashlight (3 AAA batteries not included). Each ball uses Volvik’s Twilight UV-reactive pigments, which glow very brightly after exposure to UV light—hence the included flashlight—then gradually fade over the next several minutes. The product description suggests giving each ball a five-minute “charge,” which realistically no one is going to do mid-round. That said, even with a quick 10-second charge on each side, the balls remained visible for about 5–6 minutes. A full five-minute charge might get closer to the advertised 15 minutes of glow, but in real-world play there's usually not enough time. Fortunately, the bright orange color helps extend visibility during twilight, making the ball fairly easy to spot for several minutes unless it disappears into taller grass.Unlike LED golf balls, which tend to be hard, don’t fly as far, and don’t roll naturally, the Volvik Twilight balls are built with proper compression and balanced construction. Because the glow comes from a UV-reactive outer coating rather than internal electronics, they play much more like a standard golf ball. The trade-off is that while the glow is impressively bright at first, it doesn’t last as long as LED-based options. If you often find yourself squeezing in a round right before sunrise or just after sunset, these balls are a fun and practical way to improve visibility both in the air and on the ground—without sacrificing normal ball performance.
